In all honesty this is just a picture of a rock and a small green plant. But when we look into the miraculous event that is occurring in this photo, we are reminded of so much more. We are shown that even in the toughest conditions there is still life and growth to be found. It shows how in the harshest of places we can find balance and beauty. It reminds me of the delicate, challenging, most exquisit beauty in growing in the areas where most people think you can't. When growth occurs in unexpected places, it becomes more clear to me the own strength I have within myself. I want this photo to serve as a reminder to everyone that when you think there is no growing left to do and when you think you can't go any farther, I promise that you can.
