My grounded feet

As I watched the sun set over the Blue Ridge Parkway and saw all the most precious colors of life put on a show, I thought of how far away everything seems. The sun, the clouds, the hills in the distance, they all seem like another life time away. Then I looked down at my feet, seeing how my body was immediately connected to everything around me through the ground I placed my feet upon. Yes the sun is far away, but it provides me with the energy to walk this Earth and by connecting my feet to the ground, I became one with the sun. My feet have rooted me to the connection of life on planet Earth and through that I am able to understand my existence and the absolute truth of energy - it will always surround us and it is constantly shifting.
I still remember how it all started with a random click on sky247.c. It wasn’t a planned thing at all. My laptop had died on me, right in the middle of a boring Monday afternoon. I was supposed to be finishing a project report, but instead, I was just staring at a black screen, feeling completely frustrated. I grabbed my phone, just scrolling mindlessly through stuff to kill time while the laptop was getting looked at. I can’t even remember what I was looking for—maybe reviews for a new phone or something—but an ad popped up, and my thumb just landed on it.
