I saw this church from very far away and something told me I just had to capture it. As we got close, i leaned out the window and began snapping pics as fast as i could as we drove by. I remember doubting that I had gotten a good shot in because of the shaking and speed of the car. Later, I pulled the series of pictiures up on my camera, starting from when I was farthest away. The following shots were okay, but nothing compared to this final shot I took of the church before I was too far away. The lush green against the dark red and tainted white; I loved it. I still cannot believe this photo was captured in a moving car on rough roads. When I look at this photo it reminds me of a place where time is stopped and everything is still. It calms me and washes away any thoughts of commotion or talking. Everything is silent, everything is still. And I hope this photo can help you find that space as well.

The picture of the church is compelling and seems timeless.
